Pedagogy in Preschool

Thoughtfully Designed Age-Appropriate Teaching Methods

Pedagogy in preschool needs to be thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate teaching methods, both in theory and practice. Understanding the child's readiness and developmental stages forms the basis for effective teaching strategies.

The following methods are planned for each segment of skill development:

Exploration-based Learning: Encouraging children to discover and learn through hands-on experiences.

Functional Activities: Engaging children in purposeful tasks that develop practical skills.

Froebel’s Play-way Methods: Utilizing play as a medium for learning, based on Friedrich Froebel's educational philosophy.

Activity-based Teaching Methods: Incorporating various activities to make learning interactive and engaging.

Structured Skill Assessment at Each Stage

Pedagogy also includes a very structured skill assessment of the child at each stage of the skill-building process. Our approach includes both formative and summative assessments to track progress effectively.

We offer the following assessments to ensure holistic development and skill tracking:

Diagnostic Assessment (Initial Skills Assessment / Parent Counseling): Our diagnostic assessment helps to track the basic developmental milestones of the child before starting our class.

Formative Assessment (Monthly Skill Assessment and Report): Conducted after each 4-week teaching schedule, providing parents with insights into their child's achievements and areas for improvement.

Summative Assessment (Mid-Term and End-Term Academic Tests): Summative assessments designed to evaluate the child's overall academic progress.

Schedule an Appointment for Diagnostic Assessment: Book a convenient slot to assess the child's current academic standing and areas for improvement.
